It’s one of the most common questions we hear: “Which is smaller — the Mini Lop or the Holland Lop?”
Surprisingly, it’s the Holland Lop who takes the title of the true “mini”!
Though their names can be confusing, Mini Lops are actually the larger of the two breeds. A full-grown Mini Lop typically weighs between 5–6.5 pounds, while a Holland Lop stays around 2–4 pounds. The word “mini” in Mini Lop often causes the mix-up, but in reality, the Holland Lop is the petite bundle of fluff many people imagine.

Not many breeders hand-raise their kits, but you would truly be shocked at what a difference it makes. As they grow up around people, they lose that natural prey instinct. They are held regularly, and very quickly learn to love attention!
